BUYER SUPPORT

What Traceability Records Support

Lot-Level Identification

Each lot can be identified through its associated records. These records support buyers’ traceability procedures under Article 18 of Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 and, where applicable, their withdrawal procedures under Article 19.

Documented Species & Origin

Species identification, declared collection areas, and supply records provide information buyers may use in product specifications, supplier approval procedures, and food-fraud vulnerability assessments.

Buyer Due Diligence Data

Approved aggregator information, colection areas and recorded supply volumes provide data that buyers may use within their own due diligence and reporting requirements. This information supports buyers’ own obligations and does not constitute a compliance claim by ASHWA.

STORAGE & MONITORING

Storage Managed by Lot

ASHWA’s storage operations at the
Elrifabi Gum Arabic Processing Factory in Gedaref
support the identification, monitoring, and management
of stored product by lot. Storage and handling records help maintain
visibility over product location, stock movement,
and recorded storage conditions before dispatch.
